Shred-A-Thon 2010 benefits Relay for Life

Hosting the Shred-A-Thon, Bill Stutz of Genworth Financial, Stormy Janes, Diane Gosk and Gloria Lakritz of ENG FinancialOn Saturday April 24, ENG Financial of New Port Richey hosted their 2nd Annual Shred-A-Thon to benefit the American Cancer Society New Port Richey Relay For Life. Along with their partner Bill Stutz of Genworth Financial, ENG brought in a state-of-the-art industrial shredding truck from PROSHRED, equipped with a digital monitor that allowed for a real-time view of the documents as they were destroyed. Participants gave a donation for the service and enjoyed refreshments while over 8,000 pounds of paper was destroyed. As the shredding took place in our front parking lot, cars were being washed out back. This four hour event raised over $3,600!
This was the 11th year that ENG Financial supported Relay For Life. Along with the Shred-A-Thon and Car Wash, their team raffled off gift baskets and sold baked goods during Relay night April 30 at Gulf 
Survivor Walk the night of Relay; Debbie Ryan, Jane Collins, Cheyenne and KellyHigh School. The gift baskets contained, among other items, a $25.00 Gift Card for Regal Cinemas, $50.00 SpaFinder Gift Card, a beautiful hand made Breast Cancer Awareness Quilt as well as donations of a Two Night Complimentary Hotel Stay by Days Inn and Suites of Port Richey, $25.00 Gift Card from Outback Steakhouse in Trinity, $20.00 Gift Card from Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Trinity, a “Just For Him” basket filled with a collection of men’s fragrances from Macy’s of Gulf View Square Mall and a round of golf from the Spring Hill Golf and Country Club.
ENG was proud to present over $5,000 in donations, making them a “Silver Team” two years in a row.

Our Volunteer Car Washers, Abby, Tori, Sarah, Cheyenne, Kelly, Alyssa and AshleyENG would like to say “Thank You” to all of their family, friends and clients who baked, collected donations and volunteered to wash cars, cook hot dogs, pop popcorn, sell cookies, cakes, cupcakes and raffle tickets. Our 2009 annual client holiday celebration was hosted at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club. This event, by invitation only, was our opportunity to celebrate with and thank our clients for allowing us to be a part of their families. Gradient gives back

ENG financial was proud to have been chosen to partner with Gradient Financial and Bill Rancic (winner of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice,” season one) to help local families in need.
Gradient Financial Group announced it will award deserving families across America financial makeovers from May 1 - December 31, 2009, through its Gradient Gives Back Community Outreach Program. Donald Trump’s original “Apprentice,” Bill Rancic, served as our national spokesperson searching for families in immediate financial need, helping them get back on their feet in one of the most challenging economic environments.
“There are so many families in need of financial assistance, and the Gradient Gives Back Community Outreach Program uses Gradient’s resources and expertise to make a lasting difference in these people’s lives,” said Bill Rancic. “From tax planning to career counseling, Gradient’s highly-skilled financial team was able to make a substantial impact on these families’ financial situations. I’m thrilled to be on board.”
Gradient selected four families to receive comprehensive financial makeovers, utilizing Gradient’s financial resources, expert financial team, third-party affiliates including ENG Financial Corp.
Services included:
- Financial analysis and tax planning - review and analysis of the past two years’ taxes, current income, expenses, interest rates and debt, as well as filing of 2009 and 2010 taxes
- Financial planning - financial planning including, current asset analysis, risk tolerance assessment, creation of retirement objectives
- Career counseling guidance - career coaching and counseling services, interview training, technical training, assessment of current skill level and marketability, and creation of a professional resume
- Financial assistance - payment of up to six months of mortgage or lease payments; support with utility companies, car loan companies and other applicable debt; help determine available government money and grants; and procure donations and charitable contributions

Scales for Tails Catch and Release Fishing Tournament

Scales for Tails bannerSnook, redfish and trout is what everyone had on their mind Saturday October 3. ENG Financial helped to sponsor the first annual Scales for Tails Catch and Release Fishing Tournament to benefit the SPCA Suncoast. ENG together with other Pasco County businesses and over 90 fishing teams raised over $16,000 during the event. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit animals in need at the SPCA Suncoast, a non-profit animal shelter located in Pasco County, Fla. The SPCA 
ENG girls with fishermen relies solely on donations from the community to provide compassionate care to injured, orphaned and abandoned pets on a daily basis. ENG participation in spelling bee benefits local students

ENG once again supported the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors 7th Annual Spelling Bee. This event is hosted annually to raise 
ENG spelling bee team: Stormy Janes, Bill Stutz, Gloria Lakritz and Diane Goskmoney for educational scholarships to be gifted to local students. This year we were pleased our team made it to the final round, competing against thirty teams consisting of West Pasco County’s finest business owners and dignitaries. This year’s spelling bee raised over $13,481 in scholarship funds to help further the educations of local students. Our 2009 team members were Gloria
